Blue
ribbon, class wins, have no points. The Blue ribbon
means that you can compete for Winners. Reserve
Winners (purple & white ribbon) means you are second
place, there are no points unless the Winner is
disqualified. |
Match wins, Group wins from Puppy, Amateur Owner
Handler or Bred by Exhibitor have no points and do not help
to obtain a championship!
Did you know? That
the purpose of
Conformation events are to evaluate breeding
stock. The dog's conformation, structure, temperament and overall
appearance, is judged against the breed standard. It is an
indication of the dog's ability to produce puppies that
represent the breed!
Saying you don't want a
puppy from a show breeder
is like saying, "I don't need a
house from a builder who builds to code." |
